Tyre Response Group Africa (Pty) Ltd (TRG Africa) is an independent OTR tyre and rim management service provider based in South Africa, supporting mining and heavy equipment operations across Africa and the Middle East.
We act as the client’s tyre and rim management gatekeeper, protecting the client’s interests, regardless of tyre, rim or equipment brand.
Safety is non-negotiable. Every decision, system and site activity is focused on safe execution, operational discipline and clear accountability.

TRG Africa is independent from all tyre OEMs.
This independence allows the company to assess tyre performance objectively, support multi-brand fleets and provide recommendations based on safety, site conditions, tyre life, cost per hour, cost per tonne, equipment performance and total value to the mining operation.

Leadership Experience and Capability
TRG Africa’s leadership team has over 100 years of combined experience in mining tyre and rim management, heavy mobile equipment operations and site-based service delivery.
This experience includes involvement in tyre management, tyre performance improvement, safety systems, training and competency support, workforce management, reporting, continuous improvement, systems optimisation and transparent client-facing operational delivery.
The team has worked with large-scale mining fleets and heavy mobile equipment applications, including the largest mining tyre operations in Africa.
The team’s combined experience enables TRG Africa to deliver practical, site-specific solutions aligned to safety, production and commercial objectives. This experience includes managing complex operational challenges, where practical planning, fleet prioritisation and proactive tyre management were required to protect production continuity and control cost exposure.
Core Systems and Reporting Approach
TRG Africa uses structured tyre management systems and reporting processes to manage tyre assets, rim assets, fitment history, tyre inspections, pressure data, defects, inventory, tyre removals, damage causes and performance trends.
The reporting approach is designed to provide mining clients with clear, transparent and unbiased visibility of tyre performance, risk areas, cost drivers and improvement actions.
Where required, TRG Africa can support client selected tyre management systems, reporting platforms and digital tools to improve data quality, reporting accuracy and operational decision-making.
