What inspired you to join TRG, and what excites you most about your new role?

The reputation of TRG was very high and TRG had a lot of experienced skilled workers from previous employment. What excited me the most about this role is the energy of the people and the workplace.

Can you share a bit about your professional background and experience in the industry?

5 years in the tyre industry, professional tyre fitter worked on Komatsu, Hitachi and Cat trucks. I’ve worked up to 63-inch wheels.

What motivated you to pursue a career in OTR Tyre Management?

The opportunity to learn something new on the job every day is where I found a passion for the job. I enjoy learning and being hands-on.

How will you contribute to TRG’s mission and goals in your new role?

By bringing in a positive attitude and teamwork mindset. Safety first!

What do you hope to achieve or accomplish during your time with TRG?

I look forward to growing my knowledge and experience and making new contacts within my industry.

Can you describe a project or achievement from your previous experience that you’re particularly proud of?

I built the first Komatsu 930E to ever come into South Flank. Working with the team, we built a fleet of 40 machines.

What attracted you to TRG as an employer, and what sets it apart from other companies in the industry?

The experienced fitters and amount of knowledge between crews. I wanted to experience a new company as a female tyre fitter.

How do you plan to collaborate with your new colleagues and team members at TRG?

By working together and planning how to do the job. The different ways we can do the job to ensure that we have done it correctly and safely.

What do you hope to learn or develop professionally while working at TRG?

I’d like to learn more management and leadership skills with TRG, in the future.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with the TRG community about yourself or your aspirations?

If you want to work for a solid team, come work for TRG where you’re not just a number.
