What inspired you to join TRG, and what excites you most about your new role?
The opportunity to work with other experienced tyre fitters in a large crew. The unpredictability of the job means there is something different every day.
Can you share a bit about your professional background and experience in the industry?
I have, 24 years in the tyre industry, and worked on small tyres up to 63-inch tyres, from passenger TBR to Earthmover.
What motivated you to pursue a career in OTR Tyre Management?
A new challenge, I wanted a change from TBR to EM. I previously worked in road train maintenance, and I wanted to step up for a new challenge.
What do you hope to achieve or accomplish during your time with TRG?
A greater knowledge of new and upcoming equipment as we head into the autonomous world.
What attracted you to TRG as an employer, and what sets it apart from other companies in the industry?
They only employ experienced tyre fitters and have a great reputation! Even though they were a new company, they had established a great reputation.
How do you plan to collaborate with your new colleagues and team members at TRG?
By working together, thinking of new ideas to improve our work areas and communicating effectively, combined with our strong work ethic.
What do you hope to learn or develop professionally while working at TRG?
I hope to learn and develop my skills to become a valued leading hand.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with the TRG community about yourself or your aspirations?
I enjoy working with TRG! I work with a great bunch of blokes, everyone has a good attitude and works well together. This means we always have a good time.
